Railway Group D Recruitment Board
has invited Online Applications for the post in Level 1 of 7 CPC Pay Matrix
from 10th February 2018. The Online Application Process
will end on 31st March 2018.

Railway
Group D 2018 Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay Rs.
500/- as application fee (UR & OBC)
for Railway Group D Exam 2018.
While, candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Ex-Serviceman/ PWDs/ Female/
Transgender/ Minorities/ Economically backward class
are required to pay Rs.
250/-
as application fee.
It is now been declared by the
Government that the application fee of Rs. 400/- will be refunded for
Unreserved Candidates appearing for Railway Recruitment Exam and the complete
exam fee of Rs. 250/- will be refunded for candidates belonging to reserved
category.

Group D 2018 Exam Pattern
Railway Group D Exam will be
conducted in 15 regional languages as stated in the recent notice released by
SSC
. Railway Group D Exam Pattern 2018
comprises of one stage of CBT or Computer Based Test followed by Physical
Efficiency Test (PET). Let’s have a look at both these stages of CBT in detail.
First stage of CBT
· 
The minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories :
UR -40%, OBC-30%, SC-30%, ST -30%.
· 
Comprises of multiple-choice objective type questions: English Only
·   Negative
Marking will be applicaple for every wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted.

Second Stage : PET


Passing Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is necessary for all the candidates
if they want to get selected through Railway Group D Recruitment Exam.
Male Candidates
Female Candidates
Should be able to lift and carry 35 kg of weight for a distance
of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down
Should be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance
of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down
Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 4 minutes
and 15 seconds in 1 chance
Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 5 minutes
and 40 seconds in 1 chance

People with disabilities as specified in Para 11.0 are excluded from PET.
However, after clearing the CBT, such candidates will have to qualify the
medical examination prescribed for People with Disabilities.

Third Stage: Document Verification and Empanelling of Candidates

Based on the performance of candidates in the CBT subject to their qualifying
in PET, candidates will be called for document verification.

Note:
Shortlisted candidates should produce NOC from the employer on the
date of his/her DV failing which their candidature will be cancelled.
Signatures of the candidates on all documents should be identical, either in
English or Hindi.

Group B 2018 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of
Railway Recruitment 2018
exam revolves around two pre-requisites:
  • A candidate should be between 18-33
    years to be eligible for Railway Group D Recruitment 2018 exam.
  • Candidates must hold the degree
    of 10th Pass OR ITI from institutions recognised by NCVT/SCVT or
    equivalent OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT
    for the post of Helper/Medical, Hospital Attendant, Assistant
    Pointsman, Gateman, Porter/ Hamal/ Sweeper cum portar.
  • For Remaining Posts 10th pass
    plus NAC granted by NCVT OR 10th pass plus ITI from institutions recognised
    by NCVT/SCVT.
  • A candidate is required to be:
    A citizen of India, A subject of Nepal, A subject of Bhutan, A Tibetan
    Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of
    settling permanently in India or a person of Indian origin who migrated to
    India from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of
    Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam and have the intention
    of settling permanently in India.
Apart from this age relaxation is
given to candidates belonging to reserved categories. The Age Relaxation
is mentioned below.
  • OBC – 36 years
  • SC – 38 years
  • ST – 38 years

Group D 2018 Admit Card
Candidates who will be successfully
applying for Railway Group D Recruitment 2018 Exam will be issued Admit Card
for first stage of CBT. Railway Group Admit Card will be issued separately for
botht the phases – CBT and PET. Admit Card for PET will be issued to candidates
who have successfully cleared CBT of Railway Recruitment Group D 2018.

Group D 2018 Result
Railway Recruitment Board will be
declaring the result for CBT after the examination for the same will be
conducted. Result will be announced for CBT first. Candidates who clear CBT
will be allowed to give PET of Railway Recruitment Group D 2018 Exam. Result
for PET will be released post the Physical Test for Men and Women.

Railway Recruitment 2018
Railway Recruitment 2018 is going to be held to recruit candidates for the posts of
Assistant Loco Pilots (ALP) & Technicians.  Railway Recruitment Board
carries out this examination every year providing aspirants a golden
opportunity to grab a job in the prestigious Government Sector. 
In order to apply for both the posts
– ALP & Technicians, a single application is required to be submitted by
all the candidates who wish to appear for the Railway Exam 2018.

As per a recent notification released by the Board, the upper age limit
across categories has changed. Candidates who fall into the new age limit can
start applying for the posts from 28th Februrary 2018.

Railway Recruitment 2018 was released by Railway Recruitment Board on 3rd
February 2018. A total of 26,502 vacancies have been announced by the
board, according to the official notification. Aspirants who want to appear for

The online application for Railway
Recruitment 2018 for the post of ALP and Technicians started from 3rd February
2018. The Online Application Process will conclude on 5th March 2018.

Railway Recruitment 2018 Application Fee
The Online Application window for
Railway Recruitment kick started from 3rd February 2018 and will wind up on 5th
March 2018. Candidates belonging to general category will have to pay Rs. 500/-
as application fee (UR & OBC) for Railway Recruitment 2018. While,

Railway Recruitment 2018 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria to appear
for Railway Exam 2018 exam revolves around two pre-requisites:
  • A candidate must be of 18-28 years to be eligible for
    Railway Recruitment 2018 exam.
  • Candidates need to hold Degree, Diploma and HSC (10+2)
    having eligibility for the posts of ALP and their engineering
    discipline(Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering , Mechanical
    Engineering ,Automobile Engineering with the combination of various
    streams in the respective Engineering Traits): post of Assistant Loco
    Pilot.
  • Those, candidates who have passed out with Physics and
    Maths in 12th Standard are eligible for Technician Grade III Signal and
    Technician Grade III Telecommunication posts namely Post 70 and Post 71
    respectively.
  • A candidate is needed to be: A citizen of India, A
    subject of Nepal, A subject of Bhutan, A Tibetan Refugee who came to India

qualifying in the Aptitude Test, with 70% weightage for the marks obtained in

TECHNICIAN POST

Based on the performance of candidates in Part Aof the Second Stage CBT subject
to their qualifying the Part B of Second Stage CBT

ALP POST

Based on the performance of candidates in both Part A of the Second Stage CBT
and Computer Based AT subject to their qualifying the Part B of Second Stage
CBT.
Note: Candidates attempting to
submit application more than once will be disqualified from appearing for the
examination.
Railway Recruitment Admit Card 2018 
All those candidates who successfully
register for Railway Recruitment 2018 Exam will be issued Admit Card for first
stage of CBT. Admit Card will be issued separately for Stage 1 CBT and Stage 2
CBT. Admit Card for Stage 2 CBT will be issued to candidates who will be
clearing Stage 1 CBT of Railway Recruitment 2018.

Railway Recruitment Result 2018 
Railway Recruitment Board will be declaring
the result for Stage 1 and Stage 2 CBT after the examination for the same has
been concluded. Result will be declared for Stage 1 CBT first. Candidates who
will clear Stage 1 CBT will be permitted to give Stage 2 of Railway Recruitment
2018 Exam. Result for Stage 2 CBT will will be released after the examination
for the same will be concluded.
