The
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is an organization that helps
in assessment and selection of an individual for various organization
at different posts. IBPS PO Exam inspects an individual on the
base of Speed, Accuracy and Confidentiality in all its activities.
IBPS provides its service to all Public Sector Banks, SBI, Associate Banks of
SBI, RBI, NABARD, SIDBI, few Co.op.Banks, LIC & Insurance companies
Regional Rural Banks, many Public Sector Undertakings of Non-financial sectors,
Government Departments, State-owned companies and Corporations also
avail its services. Some major universities and reputed Management institutes
engage IBPS regularly for conduct of their “Admission Tests”. 

IBPS
has released the tentative schedule for IBPS PO 2018 exam. The
Preliminary exam for IBPS PO 2018 has been scheduled on 13th, 14th, 20th,
21st October 2018
and the Mains exam on 18th November 2018.

. IBPS PO 2018 Prelims exam will be conducted on 
13th, 14th, 20th and 21st October 2018 and mains exam is
scheduled on 18th November 2018. 
Institute of Banking Personnel
Selection (IBPS) conducts examination for the post of Probationary Officers
(PO) and Clerical Cadre every year. IBPS will take CWE-VIII for Probationary
Officers as an Online exam in two parts:

1. IBPS PO Preliminary Exam
2. IBPS PO Mains Exam

Note: All participants who will successfully register himself
/ herself in PO VIII firstly have to fight with (Preliminary) Pre exam and
Shortlist candidates in Pre examination will be called for Mains Exam
and then further shortlist candidates called for a Common Interview to be
conducted by the Participating Organisations and co-ordinated by the Nodal
Bank. Marks scored in mains exam will be decided for short
listing for interview.

IBPS will be releasing the official
notification regarding the post of probationary officer/management trainees.
There were total 3562 vacancies for IBPS probationary officer/management
trainees last year. IBPS vacancies also have reservations under various
categories will be as per prevailing Government Guidelines at the time of
finalisation of the result.

IBPS PO Salary
Approximate salary of bank PO is 35,000
– 40,000 and it may vary bank to bank. And other allowances as may be
admissible under the rules in force from time to time in the company. Becoming
a probationary officer in a public sector bank is a brilliant opportunity to
start a promising career in banking sector.

There is exam centre in every state and
union territories i.e. 36  and the address of the venue will be

– Marks obtained by the candidates in the Main examination will be considered
for shortlisting for Interview and preparation of final merit list.
Note: There
will be negative marking for every wrong answers in both Preliminary and Main
Examination for which there is a penalty of ¼ or 0.25 of the marks assigned to
the particular question.
C) IBPS PO Interview:
The total marks allotted for Interview
are 100. The qualifying marks in interview is 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD
candidates). The weightage (ratio) of CWE (Main exam) and interview for final
merit list will be 80:20 respectively.

Educational Qualifications:
A
candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline
from a recognized University
or any equivalent qualification recognized as
such by the Central Government. The candidate should have passed in English as
one of the subjects at SSC/ HSC/Intermediate/ Graduation level. Candidate
should possess certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination.
Age (as in 2016 notification) :
Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 30 years

Every candidate who
registers for IBPS Exam 2018 within stipulated time will be assigned an e-admit

of IBPS. The admit card for the PRELIMS exam will be released first followed by
the admit card of  MAINS exam (administered to only those candidates who
qualify for MAINS).
IBPS PO Results 2018
IBPS will release the
results in three stages after completion of each level Exam. The candidates
selected in the rounds progress to the next one. Candidates can check the
result from the direct link to official IBPS website as and when the results
are announced.

PO Results 2018

IBPS will release the results in after completion of each Phase of
Examination.The Final Merit state wise and category wise List shall be prepared
in descending order of the marks secured by the candidates in the Online Main
Examination and interview. Candidates who fall within the number of vacancies
in the merit list shall be considered for appointment subject to Medical
Fitness.

RRB 2018 has not been released yet. IBPS has just released the tentative
calendar for IBPS 2018 exams. Keep visiting this page to find the official

Last
year, IBPS released a handsome amount of vacancies for various posts in RRB
Recruitment and graduates (freshers) have an opportunity to apply for the posts
of Office Assistant (8298 vacancies) and Officer Scale-I (5124 vacancies). And

Few
states revised the number of vacancies. Students need to be vigilant to any
development regarding the change in vacancies. The 2 states
that has changed the vacancies are Bihar and Madhya Pradesh.
IBPS RRB Assistant 
IBPS
RRB Assistant is a state wise selection process thus different states have
different vacancy and different cutoff respectively. In IBPS RRB Assistant
CWE-V (2016-17) there was approx 8200 vacancy and this year also we are
hoping huge vacancy. Candidate should be careful while selecting state as you
must know regional language of that state.
IBPS RRB Assistant Salary
An
Office Assistant in Regional Rural Bank can get a basic salary of Rs.15000 to
Rs.19000 during the training period. After training period the perks and
emoluments may depend upon the performance of the candidate as well as it may
vary from bank to bank.

An
Officer Scale-I in Regional Rural Bank can get a basic salary of Rs. 22,000 to
Rs. 25000. Various allowances are also added onto as the salary components
after which the salary may range from Rs. 33,000 to Rs. 37,000. The salary can
also vary according to the place of posting and from one bank to another.
IBPS RRB Assistant 2018 Exam Centre
There
is exam centre Approx 28 state and union territories but the final list of exam
centres for IBPS RRB assistant Exam 2017 will be released along with

Penalty for Wrong Answers
(Applicable to both – Preliminary and Main examination)

There as a penalty for wrong answers
marked in the Online Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong
answer has been given by the candidate, one fourth of the marks assigned to
that question was deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. No marks
are deducted for un-attempted questions.

IBPS SO Exam Pattern 2018
This
year IBPS had introduced a major change in the recruitment process of
Specialist Officers. Earlier there used to be only 1 examination then
followed by an interview but this year there will be a two-tier examination for
this recruitment.
The
preliminary exam will be a qualifying phase for the mains and candidates will
have to clear the cut-offs of prelims to be allowed to appear for Mains
exam.

and Mains exam will include the
following sections English, Reasonings, Quantitative Aptitude and
Professional Knowledge
. The syllabus and level of English, Reasoning and
Quantitative Aptitude is same as that of any Banking Officer level recruitment;
Professional Knowledge is the test of field-specific knowledge or
field-specific aptitude.  Apart from online examination, there will also
be a phase of Personal Interview.

Comprehension (related to women empowerment), Grammar, Synonym (

Institute of Banking Personnel
Selection (IBPS) conducts a common written exam (CWE) every year for the
recruitment of clerical cadre in various banks all across the country. All
public sector banks will use the written exam – IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam to
recruit candidates for the number of vacancies that will be released in the
official notification.
IBPS will be conducting Clerk exam
for the eighth time this year and hence named IBPS Clerk CWE VIII. IBPS Clerk
CWE exam will be conducted on two levels- preliminary and mains. Students
qualifying both the phases will be finally selected for recruitment.
IBPS Clerk is an entry-level job in
different public sector banks (PSU). IBPS Clerk Exam is conducted once in a
year to hire candidates for the post of clerical cadre. The IBPS Clerk
examination consists of two common written exams (CWE): IBPS Clerk Prelims exam
and the IBPS Clerk Mains exam. In every clerical recruitment it is very
important that the candidates are well aware of the regional or local language
of the state for which they are applying as IBPS might conduct a regional
language proficiency test after the mains examination. After a certain time a

Approximate salary of bank clerk is 18,000
– 20,000. And other allowances as may be admissible under the rules in force
from time to time in the company. The emoluments of a bank clerk may vary from

give internal exams and get promoted to officer grade in a stipulated period of
time.

clerk Exam Pattern consists of 100 questions & in 3 sections and 1 hour of
time. The marks obtained in the Preliminary examination is just of qualifying
nature for mains exam. The pattern of the Preliminary exam is given in the
table above. The paper is of 1 hour where candidates have to themselves manage
time in all three sections Reasoning, Quant and English. As per the trend in
banking examination from past year, the preliminary exam is generally easier
and with correct time and topic management candidates can get through this
phase with ease.

There is separate sectional timing for each test of Reasoning & Computer

Note – Marks obtained by the candidates in the Main examination will be
considered for shortlisting for final merit list.
There
will be negative marking for every wrong answers in both Preliminary and Main
Examination for which there is a penalty of ¼ or 0.25 of the marks assigned to
the particular question. Mains examination of IBPS Clerk 2016 Recruitment did
put up a very tough fight for all the candidates.

Qualifications:
A
candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline
from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such
by the Central Government. The candidate should have passed in English as one
of the subjects at SSC/ HSC/Intermediate/ Graduation level. Candidate should
possess a certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination.

Proficiency
in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/
write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a
candidate wishes to apply is preferable.
